not everyone would think fireworks are anything but a noise nuisance that frightens humans and animals alike ... My late husband made an effort every year we were together.
And as with a lot of traditions this was a part of the yearly rituals. I still carry on with a part of it and enjoyed this evening despite the most noticeable empty space beside me.
