Finally getting to do the usual rituals of the seasonal activities. It gets harder each year as it sinks in I no longer have my lifelong partner ... but as with grief it is different for everyone and if the circumstances are not for a peaceful death, it makes it a tad harder.
For me a time today to reflect on all those who have come and gone ... death is a certainty ... as discussed with the last A & E doctor I spoke to ... a forthright discussion on death that I appreciated ... a lot still find it a taboo ... It was refreshing ... It happens to us all ... we will be learning as we die ...
