for me it would be too easy to carry on inside and not venture out using the technology we can now access ... in getting bills paid ... all the necessary shopping to our door, etc.
With my recent health setbacks, it has certainly helped when I was unable to physically get to the shops.
Although the minimum delivery was more than my usual budget sometimes, per week, it was fortunate my stocks were low and I made use of this. I was not able to concentrate too well, and took extra care so I did not end up with 20 pints of milk.
I did everything spot on, with my delivery duly arriving within the allotted time. Ironically the first time of using the service the carrier bag charges were introduced. I had decided it would be easier to unpack the shopping with carriers, paying the flat rate for home deliveries. It said on the website the money would go to good causes.
The unpacking was done with talk of this, and the fact the drivers who bring the goods to our door, get another 50 seconds to unpack the shopping for each delivery. This shows the pressure of how these businesses put on the individuals who deliver our goods door to door in this age of technology which is supposed to help our lives.
