... from arranging times to phone from a phone booth or red box should I say ... to carrying a brick of a mobile in the 1980s ... to a slim mobile that did fit in your hand ... until they portabalised and made screens larger etc and the many many forms of communications ... you are never far away from your loved ones ... or the world in your very own gadgets and at your finger tips if you have them ...
So when you are recovering from loss or have some good news ... you can let them know to pick up when they are ready ...
That is the positive to those who say the art of talking is lost ... you can send a message and it does not matter in the response time ... in fact it suits me when I do not wish to talk ...
